Wander No Longer Feral Cat Network

A Las Vegasโ€“based, foster-supported nonprofit focused on Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), emergency rescue, and long-term community cat care.

A feral cat from one of our East Las Vegas colonies, part of our active TNR and feeding program.
A cat in our TNR program, trapped humanely, neutered, and returned safely to their colony.
Two cats from a managed colony in Northwest Las Vegas, part of our long-term colony care program.

This didn't start as a plan.

It started with a house… and cats that were already there.

But everything truly changed in 2017, during our first TNR experience.

Her name was Aurora.

2017 โ€“ 2023

She was a feral cat โ€” untouched, unseen, surviving outside like so many others.
But somehow, she broke through.

Aurora was the first cat to truly touch Rachel's heart and change the way we saw everything.
She made it real. She made it personal.

She wasn't just "a feral cat."
She was a life that deserved care, safety, and respect.

Her impact is the reason this rescue exists today.

Every day, we show up.

Every day, we are feeding, trapping, and caring for community cats across multiple colonies.

We provide:

  • Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) to stop the cycle
  • Post-surgery recovery and staging
  • Emergency rescue for at-risk cats
  • Managed feeding and colony care
This is not occasional rescue. This is daily commitment.

The cost of doing it right.

Over $800 every week

is spent just on food for the cats we manage โ€” funded almost entirely out of pocket.

That doesn't include:

  • Veterinary care
  • Emergency cases
  • Medical treatment

We don't say this for sympathy.
We say it because this is what it takes to do it right.

Feral cats don't disappear when ignored.

Without TNR:

  • They reproduce
  • Populations grow
  • Suffering increases

Through humane management, we reduce numbers, stabilize colonies, and prevent future generations from being born into survival.

Home-based. Foster-style. Focused.

Wander No Longer operates as a home-based, foster-style rescue.

  • We are not open to the public
  • All care is provided through a controlled, private setting
  • Rescue efforts are case-by-case and space-dependent

This allows us to stay focused, responsible, and effective.

We are not a public animal shelter.

We do not accept general owner surrenders.

Our work is dedicated to community cats and crisis-based rescue.

Las Vegas is growing fast โ€” but support for feral cats hasn't kept up.

Our goal is to build a large-scale sanctuary for feral and unadoptable cats right here in the city.

Until that day comes…

we show up every night, so they don't have to wander for survival.
